To Adjust the Grind

1. Unscrew the top and remove the handle. 
2. Lift the burr locking fork.
3. Hold the vertical screw in place with one hand.
4. Rotate the cogwheel clockwise with the other hand to tighten the burrs for a finer grind; or rotate counter-clockwise to loosen the burrs for a more coarse grind.
5. Be certain to replace the locking fork and handle before attempting to grind again. It is an open-top, so keeping the grinder level is necessary when grinding.
