Coffee Culture has many expressions around the world. Our free bi-weekly Live Zooms are an invitation for anyone who simply wants to connect to themselves and other humans over coffee.
The Coffee Culture Calls are free to attend. Nevertheless, you will have to go through checkout to register and receive a link to join.
Here is a general break-down of a 45min. call:
- 5min. welcome and organization (agenda, soundcheck, group rules)
- 3min. individual set up of brewing equipment and undisturbed space
- 7min. attunement with guided breathing to quiet the mind and relax the body
- 12min. music set and brewing, cultivating present moment awareness
- 3min. quiet settling into your space, sipping, and engaging with your senses
- 15min. optional sharing, on-camera or via chat
Each call has a guiding theme which you might contemplate for yourself, or share insights about.
Here are some pointers if you are unsure whether this is for you:
- This is NOT a technical coffee class or training, though you might well pick up some tricks
- This is NOT Breathwork (you should not consume coffee two hours before or after a breathwork session)
- It IS a gentle, guided meditation, designed to reset your nervous system and some emotional release is certainly possible
- You will feel relaxed, but clear and alert, not "spaced-out"
- Sharing is not mandatory. However, we encourage you to stay for the whole session, as even listening and holding space can have a healing and relaxing effect, spark new ideas and bring insights
- The calls are not recorded or transcribed to provide a safe environment. This is the normal human experience of embracing moments as they happen. A live group is powerful and we aim to provide a stress-free, inclusive space
- You can totally join even if you don't make coffee manually. Simply prepare your favorite beverage in whichever way you like
